Waterfalls were gushing
everywhere in Yosemite National Park.
From our first sight of El Capitan, that Mecca for rock climbers,
to our lunch in the historic Ahwanee Hotel, Yosemite was a feast for the
eyes.
From
Yosemite, we drove through the rich farms and orchards of California’s
Central Valley, arriving in the Bay area, tired, but happy, and most
appreciative of those who had the forethought to preserve all of these
natural wonders throughout the southwest for our amazement.
Everyone should take a road trip now and then to realize just how
lucky we are to live here in this century.
Next
trip: Kamchatka.
Don’t know where that is?
Get out your atlas and see if you can find it.
